Students who feel safe and affirmed by their teachers can learn, and all students deserve to feel supported in their schools. The majority of LGBTQ+ students in Kansas report being victimized at school, and this high rate of bullying and harassment impacts their well-being. This session will provide middle and high-school teachers tools that will help them better meet the needs of LGBTQ+ students.
